Lyndsey: Patient Care Manager/Kennel Manager
Lyndsey graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College in 2005. She joined Northern Valley Animal Clinic in August 2007 as our lead Certified Veterinary Technician. In 2011, she also became manager of our boarding facility. Lyndsey’s favorite aspects of her job are emergency medicine, surgery, and client education. When not at the clinic, Lyndsey enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, daughter, and son, along with her six dogs (Sara, a Lab mix; Peaches, a mini dachshund; Charlie, shepherd/corgi mix; Captain, a golden retriever; Annie, pit bull mix; and Lola, a pit bull) and two cats (Jewel, a three-legged white domestic shorthair, and Pumpkin, a one-eyed orange domestic shorthair).
Amy: Certified Veterinary Technician
Amy joined Northern Valley in June 2012. She graduated from the Minnesota School of Business with an AAS in veterinary technology. She enjoys assisting in surgery, client education, and laboratory analysis. Almost all of her free time is spent with her black Lab, Edie. They enjoy running, boating, and being outdoors.
Lisa: Certified Veterinary Technician
Lisa obtained her AAS degree in veterinary technology from Rochester Community and Technical College in 2007 and joined Northern Valley Animal Clinic in August 2008. Lisa assists our veterinarians with surgical procedures, laboratory analysis, radiology, and nursing techniques. She is also enrolled in college in the process of obtaining a BS degree in environmental science. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being entertained by her cat, Cheeba; German shorthair pointer, Blazer; border collie, Patch; and a pair of chinchillas, Neo and Kiki.
Jessica: Certified Veterinary Technician
Jessica is a 2005 graduate of Ridgewater College and holds an AAS. She joined the Northern Valley Animal Clinic staff in August of 2005, and assists our doctors with laboratory analysis, radiology, dentals, patient nursing care and client education. When not at NVAC she likes to garden both inside and out, fishing, motorcycling, painting, and drawing.
She shares her house with kitties Ollie and Penelope, bunny Petunia and fish Herald.
Ashley: Veterinary Technician
Ashley joined Northern Valley in June 2013 after newly graduating with her AAS degree from Rochester Community and Technical College. Her favorite parts of the job are greeting clients, assisting in radiology, and prepping surgical patients. Ashley has two pets of her own Kahlua (a pitbull-lab mix) and a kitty named Moonshine. In her spare time she enjoys reading, biking, playing with her pets, and watching movies.
Carrie: Veterinary Technician
Carrie graduated from Rochester Community & Technical College in 2008 earning her AAs in veterinary technology. She lived in North Dakota for four years and moved back home to Rochester after her daughter was born. She joined NVAC in June 2013 and enjoys all aspects of her job, mostly surgeries, nursing care, laboratory analysis & client education. Carrie enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, boating, snowmobiling, and spending time with her family and her two cats, Phoebe & Chandler.
Kim: Office Manager
Kim became one of our patient/client coordinators in October 2000. She takes care of office administration, including, but not limited to, accounting, customer care, appointment scheduling, and triaging phone calls. Kim enjoys spending her time away from the office riding motorcycles, spending time with her husband, and snuggling with their three dogs, Poncho, a shepherd/Lab mix; Brock, an Anatolian shepherd; and Lulu, a Pug.
Ciara: Patient/Client Coordinator
Ciara started with Northern Valley Animal Clinic the end of January 2015, as one of our Patient/Client Coordinators. She handles customer care, appointment scheduling, and triaging incoming calls. Aside from her time spent at Northern Valley, Ciara also enjoys spending time at home with her family and their animals, 2 dogs, Mama (Pit Bull), and Rocky (Husky/Pit bull Mix) and 4 cats, Jellybean, Napoleon, Kipland and Scarface (All Domestic Short Hair!). When it isn’t Minnesota winter, Ciara and her family enjoy time outside doing yard work, having bon fires, grilling, and almost any other activity that can be enjoyed outside!
Shelby: Patient/Client Coordinator
Shelby joined Northern Valley Animal Clinic in May of 2016. Her duties include: customer care, appointment scheduling, and triaging phone calls. In Shelby's free time she enjoys working on Volvo cars and snugging with her four cats: Baby, Pippen, Slippers, and Mittens.
