Carrie: Patient Care Manager
Carrie graduated from RCTC in 2008 earning her AAS in veterinary technology. She lived in North Dakota for four years and moved back home to Rochester after her daughter was born. She joined NVAC in June 2013 and enjoys all aspects of her job, mostly surgeries, nursing care, laboratory analysis & client education. When not at the clinic, Carrie enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, boating, snowmobiling, and spending time with her husband, daughter & son dogs Finn, Gunther and her three cats, Phoebe, Xena and Louie.
Jessica: Animal Care Staff
Jessica is a 2005 graduate of Ridgewater College and holds an AAS. She joined the NVAC in August of 2005, and assists our doctors with laboratory analysis, radiology, dentals, patient nursing care and client education. When not at the clinic, Jessica likes gardening both inside and out, fishing, motorcycling, painting, and drawing. She shares her house with Patrick, her daughter Evie and kitties Smooshy Smoosh and Harold.
Katie: Animal Care Staff
Katie finished her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2021 and BAS in Pre-Veterinary Medicine in December of 2024. She joined NVAC in August of 2020. She loves seeing the different animals but especially enjoys emergency medicine and surgery. When not at the clinic, Katie enjoys watching Disney Plus and Hulu, listening to musicals and hanging out with her animals, friends and fiance. Katie has four rescue dogs Kado, Phoebe, Eleanor and Rosa along with three rescue cats, Freya, Ivory and her bottle-baby Castiel.
Alyssa: Animal Care Staff
Alyssa graduated from RCTC in 2024 earning her AAS in veterinary technology. She joined NVAC in December 2022. She enjoys the great team, surgery and helping pets and their families. When not at the clinic, Alyssa enjoys reading, spending time with family and traveling (especially the lake house in Glenwood). Alyssa has a yorkie named Sammy
Liz: Animal Care Staff
Liz graduated from RCTC in 2023 earning her AAS in veterinary technology. She joined NVAC in January 2024. She enjoys the clinic environment, getting to learn each patient and the different personalities, the atypical cases and client education. When not at the clinic, Liz enjoys any activity with her dogs or chasing her children around to various activities in the warmer months most time is spent at one of MN motocross tracks. Liz has two dogs named Blitz(shepherd mix), Ein (corgi), a cat named Udon(DSH) and two horses named Iasia(Mustang) and Titan(Paint/Quarter Horse).
Madison: Animal Care Staff
Madison graduated from RCTC in 2024 earning her AAS in veterinary technology. She joined NVAC in May 24. She enjoys seeing all the patients and helping them feel better. When not at the clinic, Madison enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, sleeping, hanging out at the family farm, hanging out with my animals, family and friends. Madison has a dog named Moose and Guinea Pig named Patches.
Ella: Animal Care Staff
Ella went to UW–River Falls and received a BAS in Animal Science, she then graduated from RCTC in 2026 with a veterinary technology degree. She joined NVAC in May of 2025 first as a receptionist before moving to the technician position. She enjoys meeting all the clients and their pets as well as advocating for those that can’t speak. When not at the clinic, Ella enjoys hanging out with her pets, friends and family as well as kayaking or fishing. Ella has a dog named Junie, two cats named Opal and Salem along with a bearded dragon named Zeus.
Makayla: Animal Care Staff
Makayla graduated from RCTC in 2026 earning her AAS in veterinary technology. She joined NVAC in June of 2025. She enjoys meeting new people and pets, especially puppies and kittens. When not at the clinic, Makayla enjoys golf, spending time with friends and family and going to the cabin. Makayla has a dog named Bailey.
Hope: Animal Care Staff
Hope joined NVAC in January of 2023 and has an animal science bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. She enjoys meeting so many people who care so much about their pets. When not at the clinic, Hope loves to hike, read and watch movies. She has two cats (Boo and Goose).
Danielle: Customer Service Representative
Danielle joined NVAC in 2020. Since joining the team, she now knows that working with animals is the career she wants. She enjoys all the different animals that come in and being able to take care of them every day. When not at the clinic, Danielle loves to hang out with family and friends.
Beth: Patient/Office Manager
Beth earned her AAS in Animal Health from UMW. She joined NVAC in 1999 as a groomer, vet tech and front office until she took a 15-year sabbatical and is now happy to be back on the team. She enjoys getting to spend time with all the pets as well as the circle of great people at the clinic. When not at the clinic, Beth and her husband run a non-profit called Crazy Cat Man Sanctuary for feral cats. She also enjoys driving her Jeep, crafting and photography.
Judith: Customer Service Representative
Judith is currently attending RCTC in the veterinary technician program with a projected graduation of 2027. She joined NVAC in May of 2026. She enjoys meeting all the pets and people. When not at the clinic, Judith likes to cross stitch and go hiking with her husband and dog. She has 2 cats named Oreo and Muffin along with her dog Freya.
Amy: Customer Service Representative
Amy joined NVAC in June of 2026. She enjoys her coworkers, the friendly clients and of course the animals. When not at the clinic, Amy likes to read, paint, crochet and hang out with family. Amy has a golden retriever named Yochon and 3 rescue kitties.
Alissa: Groomer
Alissa has over 20 years of experience in the pet industry and grooming. She joined NVAC in January of 2007. She likes working here with a supportive staff and professional environment. When not at the clinic, Alissa raises and shows rabbits and is a licensed judge. She also continues to educate herself in grooming. Alissa has two Australian Shepherds, Linc and Rori, a Doodle named Mario, two cats named Lou and Clara and an African Grey named Grey Bird.
